Volunteer Opportunities

We have a proud legacy of volunteerism at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. We work closely with our clinical staff to make sure that our volunteers will have meaningful experiences and so we can better meet the needs of our patients and their families and our staff. We have found that communication, consistency and understanding the expectations within each department are critical for creating a successful volunteer program.

Our Auxiliary Volunteer Organization was founded in 1951. Since then many hours have been donated, including 3,338 hours in 2018. Additionally, this group has assisted the hospital in the purchase of major equipment through their various fundraising endeavors. We encourage all volunteers to be a part of the Auxiliary Volunteer Organization. The quarterly meetings provide opportunities for our volunteers to get to know each other and be a part of this continuing legacy.

Ivinson Memorial Hospital is always looking for new volunteers to help us serve patients in our community. Our volunteer program allows volunteers to choose a schedule that works for them to offer their time to Ivinson.
