Meredith and Jeannie Ray Cancer Center
The Cancer Center renovation at Ivinson Memorial Hospital is a transformative project designed to expand our current space to fit our increasing volume but maintain a healing, private environment for patients battling cancer. This initiative will improve patient comfort by redesigning the waiting room and introducing more infusion treatment bays, ensuring a private treatment experience. To enhance the patient experience for those needing guidance and emotional support throughout treatment we will be designing additional private office for our nurse navigator and patient advocate. The project also includes flex rooms that can serve as private infusion bays or exam spaces, and a relocated Resource Center to better support patients. Throughout the renovation, steps will be taken to keep the Meredith and Jeannie Ray Cancer Center fully operational, ensuring uninterrupted care.
Donor support is vital to bringing this vision to life. The remodel includes continued space for Jeannie’s Boutique, allowing it to continue offering free resources like wigs, prosthetics, and other supportive products for cancer patients. Key areas, such as the nurse workstation and patient entrance, will be reconfigured, and critical infrastructure updates will enhance functionality and sustainability. By contributing to this project, donors can play a pivotal role in improving the Cancer Center’s ability to serve more patients and deliver compassionate, cutting-edge care close to home.
